How to Lock the keypad on your Curv Home Alarm System

Step 1: Your panel will open on the Homepage. Using the arrows on the right hand side of the keypad press the ↓ button.

Step 2: This button will direct you to the ‘Main Menu’, using the ↓ button again, navigate to the ‘Settings’ menu.

Step 3: The ‘Settings’ menu will open, select the ‘Switch’ category.

Step 4: Inside the ‘Switch’ menu, select the ‘Keypad Lock’ option.

Step 5: This will automatically be set to ‘off’, press the down arrow to change this to ‘on’.

Step 6: Now the keypad lock is activated, press the ‘Return’ button on the keypad until the ‘Settings’ menu appears, then select the ‘Password’ category.

Step 7: You are now in the Password menu, you can change the ‘System’ and ‘User’ password.

Step 8: Use the keypad to enter the password you’d like, then press the enter button to save it. Repeat this process to change the user password.

Step 9: Congratulations! You have successfully changed the password on your control panel. After 30 seconds of inactivity the keypad will automatically lock itself.
