How to set up the Curv Smart HD Camera For The First Time

Setting up your Curv Video Camera for the first time

Step 1:  Begin by opening your phone settings, head over to your WiFi settings and ensure your home network is selected.

Step 2:  Open the Curv Smart application.

Step 3:  Now choose the Add Device button, this can be found in the top right corner of the screen.

Step 4:  The device is classed as a Smart Camera, select this option to continue.

Step 5:  Reset the Smart Camera to put it into pairing mode, to do this hold the reset button on the back of the camera for 10 seconds. A blue light on the camera will flash to indicate pairing mode is enabled.

Step 6:  You will now be asked to enter your Wi-Fi details, please enter your details exactly as shown on your router. (Please note this section is case sensitive)

Step 7:  A QR code will display on your screen, angle the Smart Camera to face the QR Code. Hold the phone roughly 15 cm away from your Camera.

Step 8:  The Smart Camera will beep once the QR code has been recognised, press the I Heard A Prompt when you hear this beep and allow the device to configure.

Step 9:  You will be given the option to rename the device, for this example we used Front Porch.

Step 10:   Congratulations your Curv Smart HD Camera is now setup and ready to use.
