Why are my detectors overriding on my Curv Home Alarm System?

When adding a detector you will be asked to set a Name, Mode and Number.

The number for the detector cannot be repeated, if the same number is used this will override the original detector. The numbers will need to be consecutive, for example: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6.
